Midge medical, the company behind minoo app is a german healthcare startup, specializing in innovative molecular testing. Their goal ist to make medical testing available to everyone by bringing it into people's homes. Their solution consists of a mobile testing station, that is used in combination with a smartphone app.
My task was to lead the iterative refinement of ux concepts and ui designs during sprints. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to create designs and solutions for an ever evolving product. My role was to be the voice of the user in the product design process and deliver exceptional experiences.
• Simplified information architecture by reducing the number of steps in the app process dramatically, cutting development time by 20%.
• Evolved the current design system by identifying new requirements and developing fresh UI components, enhancing overall design quality.
• Streamlined the whole design process and reduced costs, production time and possible error sources.
• Collaboratively analyzed and improved hardware/software interactions, ensuring a decrease in support issues post-launch.
• Crafted complex medical vector-animations (json) and illustrations to enhance usability and speed of the manual testing process and reduce handling errors by users.
• Built an animated prototype to test with users
• Documented processes in Confluence, simplifying handovers, fostering team collaboration, and enhancing knowledge sharing among team members.
